Madame Butterfly Scrolls
When I was living in Alameda, CA, my love of painting and illustrating figures and stories inspired me to explore themes from opera. Still smitten, I continue to create paintings and prints of opera themes. I used Monotype, Chine Collé, and non-traditional scroll-making techniques to create these pieces made from paper, silk, and thread.
